Camping pandemic style. We avoided sharing public bathrooms and crowded air spaces but still got in a summer vacation by camping on "the family farm" for what we decided to call a "Dude Farm" vacation. Instead of hiking deep woods, swimming in the big lakes, and shopping amongst throngs of tourists, we hiked open farm fields, swam in a pool, and helped out with farm chores. It was exactly the vacation we needed.
Finishing up some summer work (his choice, not our assignment) just barely in time to enjoy a short break before school starts again. Brief vacation, here we come.
