A season kick-off event for our high school football team AND, more importantly, our high school marching band. This was our first game being band parents in the stands while Calvin was down on the field...and we loved it.

365_2021, National Days Back in the State Parks for our summer camping tradition with our close friends. We played this one safe and didn't book a trip until we knew the kids could be vaccinated, which meant all our favorite camping spots were filled up. But the goal is to be together more so than to find the perfect spot so we celebrated our ability to do just that by camping in the best spot we could find. We hiked, we swam, we cooked over the open flames, we communed with nature...and each other.
